From frameworks to firewood

I’m Muhammed Moshood, a London-based strategic marketing & communications professional with experience in highly regulated and fast-paced sectors: banking and finance, technology and consulting. Over the years, I have developed a systems lens, blending multi-sectoral exposure; this has helped me connect innovation, human behaviour, governance, and growth.

My academic journey, particularly the postgraduate programme at the University of Westminster, reflects the beliefs I share: innovation and technology invite possibilities, strategy demands clarity, communication must meet its purpose, and business growth must be anchored in data. I build growth stories rooted in insight and action, whether leading growth, digital transformation, crafting narratives and frameworks, or advising leaders and organisations.

Beyond this spectrum, I engage in peer-reviewed research publications, teaching, and serving on the boards of social organisations, all of which shape my personal and professional perspectives.

If you’re building something iconic, looking to drive change or rethinking growth in regulated or emerging industries, let’s connect.

Outside of work

My interests are driven by a single passion: tackling complex challenges, whether they involve people, ideas, or strategy. This drive is reflected in my commitment to mentorship, my passion for analytical writing, and my experience in competitive sports.

This ethos led me to found Hope Foundation in 2016, an initiative dedicated to fostering leadership in young people through structured mentorship. Through this vehicle and others, I have personally mentored, keeping it moderate, over 100 young people, both in England and abroad, including undergraduate researchers eager to address local challenges.

Leading this initiative has refined my project management and cross-cultural communication skills, both of which are essential for navigating complex and multi-cultural engagements or organisations.

Okay, enough of the boring stuff now! I enjoy playing games, travelling, especially on road trips, and discussing a wide range of topics, from the mundane to the most fundamental.

And, I learnt to cook as a boy, thanks to my mum. I enjoy it too. Perhaps, I can teach you a recipe or two. You never know 😉
